Race Point Road
Provincetown, MA
This big and beautiful beach is located at the very tip of Cape Cod and is part of the National Seashore. Sun worshippers should note that Race Point, because it is a north facing beach, gets sun all day long. Don't forget to bring your surf caster when the 'Blues' are running.

I've been going to this beach since the 1980's... A long sandy slope makes leaving the beach a tad of a chore, if you bring coolers, chairs, umbrella, etc. But not a bother, it's just the beaches way of telling you to stay!
Sunset views, occasional ships, whales, dolphins and seals. Dunes to explore, and a visitors center with very interesting facts pertaining to the beach itself. Fires permitted, if you pay for the permit and the permit is dirt cheap!
Race Point Beach will always have a place in my heart, and as far as I'm concerned, It is DEFINITELY one of the greatest beaches America has to offer!
